Jo Seagar Cooking Series
We are super excited to announce Jo Seagar is coming to Sunlover 8th - 10th March 2021.
After a year of separations from friends and family, it is just the right time to bring to you a cook who celebrates creating recipes that bring people around the table. In Jo’s own words, “I am looking forward to being able to share clever ideas and amazing recipes for home grown entertaining and celebrations that don’t bust the budget!” .
Not only a well known cook, writer and culinary traveller, Jo is also widely recognised for her work as a Patron of Hospice.
Jo is happy to do a signing of any of her books you have at home. So make sure you bring them!
This time, we’ve got 3 events for you to choose from:
Cooking demonstration and dessert – More info and tickets here https://joseagar.app.rsvpify.com/ - the biggie, held at the Hall. 10th March. $50.

Sponsorship of fabulous events is a way that Sunlover loves to give back to the wider Coromandel community. The Mercury Bay Art Escape is something Chris and I love to attend every year. Held the first and second weekends of March 2021.
Mercury Bay Art Escape is an enriching and engaging visual art experience for locals and visitors to the region.
Visit 50+ artists centred around the picturesque coastal area of Mercury Bay on the Eastern Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, encompassing the areas of Hikuai, Tairua, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach, Whenuakite, Coroglen, Whitianga, Kuaotunu, Rings Beach and Opito Bay.
The annual artists open studios provides a unique opportunity to visit member artists in their studios, to see their work in progress, find what inspires them and what new art they are working on. It also gives you the chance to buy original work from some of the best artists in Mercury Bay direct from their studios.
The artists, including 2 art groups and 7 new members, are ready to welcome you to their studios. All bring a rich and eclectic mix of the arts including potters, sculptors, painters, printmakers, photographers, flax weavers, woodworkers, mosaic artists, jewellers, a glass artist and a furniture maker.
